Claude Code training for business owners
Claude Code training at Firefly is live teaching for business owners and managers who are not software developers.
Saad Afsar gives the training himself. It is not a recorded course that you follow alone at your own pace.
Saad built Firefly’s own website, tools and automations with Claude Code, which is Anthropic’s coding tool.
The training has two formats, and the table compares them.
One-to-one sessions and team workshops

How a one-to-one session works
A one-to-one session is working time with Saad on a task that you choose.
- You bring a task
- The task comes from your own business. It can be a website, a small tool or the automation of a job that your staff repeat.
- Saad works on it with you
- Saad does the task with you during the session. You learn Claude Code on work that your business needs.
- The hours are agreed first
- We agree the number of hours with you before the work starts. Each hour costs $100.
A team workshop is for a company that wants its staff to learn Claude Code together. Saad teaches the staff as a group for half a day or a full day.
Firefly has no fixed syllabus. We agree what the sessions or the workshop will cover with you before the work starts.
Who the training suits, and who it does not suit
The training suits an owner or a manager who is not a software developer and wants to use Claude Code on the work of the business.
The training does not suit a software developer who wants an advanced engineering course.
It also does not suit a reader who wants a recorded course. Anthropic lists free courses in its Claude Academy.

What Claude Code is, as Anthropic describes it
Claude Code is a product of Anthropic. Each statement in this list comes from Anthropic’s own pages, which we read on 8 October 2026.
- What the tool does
- Anthropic’s documentation says that Claude Code reads the files of a project, edits files and runs commands.
- How a person uses it
- A person describes the task in plain language. The documentation says that Claude Code then plans the approach, writes the code and verifies that it works.
- What it asks first
- Anthropic’s product page says that Claude Code asks for permission before it changes a person’s files or runs commands.
- Where it runs
- The documentation lists four places where Claude Code is available. They are a terminal, a code editor, a desktop app and a web browser. A terminal is a window in which a person types commands to the computer.
- Who it was made for
- The documentation describes Claude Code as a coding assistant that helps a person build features, fix bugs and automate development tasks. Our training is for owners and managers who are not developers.
- The account it needs
- The documentation says that most of those four places require a Claude subscription or an Anthropic Console account. You buy that account from Anthropic, and our fee does not include it.
- Anthropic’s own courses
- Anthropic describes its Claude Academy as free courses, tutorials and use cases from its education team. The documentation names two of the courses, Claude Code 101 and Claude Code in Action.

The training is charged at Firefly’s published rate of $100 an hour.

Saad Afsar gives the training himself. He built Firefly’s own website, tools and automations with Claude Code.

Is this a Claude Code course?
It is live training with one person, and it is not a recorded course. Saad Afsar teaches one-to-one sessions by the hour and team workshops of half a day or a full day.
Who is the Claude Code training for?

What is a Claude Code workshop?
A workshop is half a day or a full day in which Saad teaches the staff of one company to use Claude Code. We agree what the workshop covers with you before the day.
What does Claude Code for business mean?
It means using Claude Code on the work of a business, such as a website, a small tool or the automation of a repeated job. Saad built Firefly’s own website, tools and automations with it.
Is Saad a Claude consultant?
Some owners search for a Claude consultant or a Claude Code consultant. A one-to-one session is that kind of help, because Saad works with you on a task from your own business.
